You can now ask Claude or ChatGPT about your own game. Your rounds open on what actually happened before they show you the map. Your Trends read your shots a few new ways. And there’s an annual plan now, at half what you’d pay by the month.
If your course is about to close for the year, there’s a note at the end on pausing your membership.
Here’s what’s new.
Big news
$150 a year
AVA Golf now has an annual plan: $150 a year, or $12.50 a month, half what monthly costs. Monthly is still $25, and you’ll see both options when you sign up or subscribe.
Your Game, in Your AI Assistant
Ask Your AI Assistant About Your Game
Add https://app.avagolf.com/mcp as a connector in Claude, ChatGPT, or a similar assistant, sign in to AVA Golf, and ask it about your rounds, practice sessions, trends, priorities, and bag. It can only read your data, and you can disconnect it anytime under Settings → Connections → Connected apps.

Your Rounds, Clear at a Glance
Every Round Opens on What Happened
Open a round and you get a short summary first: your score, a line on what shaped the day, and how each part of your game compared with your recent average. The lesson picked for that round sits underneath, and shows up in your recent activity on the dashboard.
Walk Through It Hole by Hole
Tap into any hole for a closer look, or open the full-screen map. On your phone, tap a shot to zoom straight to it, switch between satellite and street view, and choose whether your rounds open on the map or the overview.
Place the Flag in Seconds on Your Phone
Place your putts first and AVA Golf suggests where the flag was, based on where your last putt started. Confirm it or nudge it into place, and your pin position feeds straight into your putting and approach stats.

Your Edits Stay Put
Every change you make to a round now holds when your device syncs it again. That covers penalties, lies, putt distances, and putts you add yourself.
More in Your Trends
Dispersion by Club, Distance, or Lie
Expanded approach and chipping dispersion charts now switch between club, distance, and lie, so you can come at your pattern from whichever angle helps.

Speed Into Carry, Club by Club
Practice with a launch monitor? Your approach page now shows how your club speed turns into carry for each club, starting with the one you hit most.
A More Accurate Handicap Estimate
Your estimated handicap now follows World Handicap System rules, including how nine-hole rounds count, and shows to one decimal place.
Sharper Putting and Driving Numbers
Holed putts earn their strokes gained, short tap-ins your device didn’t record are counted, and offline distance is measured on every drive. Each wedge in your bag gets its own row in club gapping, and Golf Pad rounds now recognize putts from the fringe and chips from the apron.
And plenty of smaller polish besides: shot numbers that match your scorecard, penalties included, your imperial or metric choice on every screen including the hole map, weather on every round, a progress bar while your rounds sync, and quicker pages across the app.
Pausing for the Off-Season
If your season is winding down, you don’t have to cancel and start again in the spring. Pause your membership for anywhere from one month to six, and pick it back up when you’re playing again. We’ll preselect a length from where you told us you play, so most northern-hemisphere golfers land back around the start of April.
You keep your account and everything in it. Every round, every chart, every trend you’ve built up stays where it is, and you can still open the app and look back over your season.
Your practice still counts. Launch monitor and simulator uploads keep working through a pause. Winter is range and simulator season.
What stops. Rounds stop syncing in from supported round tracking devices, your handicap stops updating, and your coaching playlist stops re-ranking until you continue.
Anything you record still lands. Whatever your connected apps picked up during the pause is pulled in the day you continue, and your priorities refresh against it.
You aren’t billed until you continue. Your next charge falls on the day your membership picks back up. Continue early whenever you like, extend the pause if winter runs long, or let it resume on its own.
Pausing lives under Settings → Billing, once every twelve months.
That’s October. Open a recent round, see what it says, and pick one thing to work on over the winter.
Log in to AVA Golf and take a look around. See you out there.
