Behind the scenes, our team has been heads-down building the analytics, imports, and everyday polish that make it easier to understand your game and actually enjoy the process of improving it. From a whole new way to see your Trends to a friendlier way to get started, here’s everything that’s new, better, and fixed. All of it so you can spend less time wrestling with an app and more time out on the course.

Track your rounds in Golf Pad? Bring that whole history over to AVA Golf: connect it during onboarding, or import any round straight from its URL.
SkyTrak and FlightScope Support
Two more launch monitors now plug right in, so your practice and range sessions count toward your stats no matter what you use to measure them.
Smarter CSV Uploads
Uploading a batch of sessions now shows real progress file by file, and you can cancel one mid-upload instead of starting over on all of them.
Fix Any Shot After the Fact
Mis-clubbed a shot or want to nudge its spot on the hole map? Every practice shot is now fully editable (club, position, all of it) right from Sessions, Data Explorer, or the map itself.
Keep a Round Out of Your Stats Without Losing It
Had an odd round you don’t want dragging down your numbers? A simple checkbox now excludes it from your analytics while keeping it in your history.
Tell Us What You Actually Want to See
Thumbs-down any coaching video with a quick note on why, and it moves to a “Not for me” drawer, still there if you change your mind, out of your way if you don’t.
A Shareable Intelligence Page Worth Sharing
When you share a round now, the page you send actually reflects your real game: a genuine breakdown of that round’s data, not a generic template.
Real Course Maps
Hole views now show the actual fairway, green, and bunker shapes of the course you played, with the option to filter shot-by-shot, plus you’ll spot the real Garmin, Golf Pad, SkyTrak, and FlightScope logos on the rounds and sessions that came from each.
Your Face, Your Profile
Upload your own profile photo and it’ll follow you around the app, header and settings included.
See Your Game Like Never Before
This was the biggest piece of work all summer: nearly every chart in Trends got rebuilt, and a whole set of new ones joined them, so you can actually see where your strokes are going, not just that they went somewhere.

A Cleaner Trends Overview
Scoring and handicap now live in one chart, the clutter is gone, and new views show your round-by-round history, your momentum by phase of the round, and your momentum by outcome type.
Skill Genome and a Redesigned Strokes Gained Chart
A new Skill Genome view (swap to a skills radar anytime) and a redesigned Strokes Gained chart give you an honest, properly-averaged picture across whichever rounds you’re looking at.
Hole-by-Hole Heatmaps
New heatmaps show exactly which holes are earning or costing you strokes, and every chart now includes a short, plain-English note on what it found in your data.
Zoomable Heatmaps
Heatmaps are now zoomable, and fully usable by keyboard or touch, so digging into a dense cluster of shots is easy on any device.
A Clearer Handicap Card
Your handicap card now leads with the number that matters most, and the round-range selector works the same way on every Trends page.

Putting Breakdowns
New charts break down exactly where your misses happen inside 20 feet, how often three-putts strike, your real make-probability by distance, and how your lag putts tend to finish, so “I need to putt better” turns into “I need to work on this.”
SHORT GAME
Short Game Insights
See where your chips actually land, how your up-and-down odds change by lie, and a “save trend” you can click straight into a specific round, plus a plain-language summary of what a good save is really worth to your score.
APPROACH & DRIVING
Approach Dispersion Redesign
The approach dispersion chart got a full redesign: misses are marked clearly, every club shows up, and a new carry-confidence chart and lie filter help you see which club you can actually trust from where.
Driving Distance and Swing Profile
Driving now shows a distance breakdown and a swing profile front and center, a true-to-scale driver graphic, and a clear read on penalty strokes per round. Your Miss Tendency chart is now clickable too, jumping you straight to that tee shot, with your preferred view remembered next time.

A Dedicated Path for Launch Monitor Users
Just use a launch monitor? There’s now a dedicated path for you, CSV import included, so you’re no longer stuck if you don’t own a wearable.
Rewritten Onboarding Copy
We rewrote onboarding copy throughout so it stops assuming you play a full rated round or own a specific device.
Google Sign-In Fixed
Fixed Google sign-in so the account picker reliably shows up, and you’ll be told clearly if Google finds an existing account for you.
Partial Rounds Can Now Be Imported
Short or partial rounds can now be imported too, with a clear note on which stats they will and won’t count toward, instead of being rejected outright.
No More Invite Code Required
You no longer need an invite code to join AVA Golf. Only golfers using a device or source we genuinely don’t support yet land on a waitlist, with a clear confirmation, not a dead end.
Self-Serve Coach Signup
Coaches can now sign up on their own, no invite required, and start inviting their players right away.

A Fresh Brand Palette
AVA Golf now wears its own colors: a fresh, on-brand red palette across the whole app.

Simplified Settings Layout
Settings got a tidy two-column layout that only shows the integrations you’ve actually connected, no more scrolling past ones you don’t use.
Journal Moved Into Activity
Journal now lives inside the Activity tab, so your history is easier to find in one place.
Simpler Profile Editing
Updating your profile is simpler: one Name field, and Location now splits cleanly into City and State with autocomplete to speed things along.
Clearer Account Deletion Policy
If you ever delete your account, we anonymize your billing history rather than erase it. Your subscription is canceled and your personal details are scrubbed, we just have to keep an anonymized record for tax purposes.
Fixes You’ll Feel
Not every improvement is flashy. Some of it is just making sure the numbers you’re trusting are actually right. Here’s what we cleaned up.
Faster Rounds List
Your Rounds list loads noticeably faster now: we stopped pulling every single shot just to show you a list.
Garmin Double-Counting Fixed
Squashed a bug that could occasionally double-count a round synced from Garmin. Your stats are clean and accurate, every time.
Golf Pad Sync Data Loss Fixed
Fixed a Golf Pad sync issue that could wipe out previously imported shots: your practice history is safe.
Strokes-Gained Figures Corrected
Fixed strokes-gained numbers in your Journal feed that weren’t always using the right baseline, and restored hole-by-hole strokes-gained figures that had gone missing.
Deleted Shots Stay Deleted
Fixed a bug where deleted shots could reappear after your data resynced. Gone means gone.
Coach “View as Player” Fixed
For our coaches: fixed “view as player” mode occasionally showing another player’s videos, notes, or baseline. You’ll always see the right player’s data now.
More Accurate Strokes Gained
Tightened up how we calculate strokes gained across approach shots, terrain, gimme putts, and par mismatches, for more accurate numbers across the board.
Better Round Matching
Fixed round-matching so practice and replayed rounds line up with the correct course more reliably.
Update Prompt Fixed
Fixed a snag where the app could get stuck showing an outdated screen after we shipped an update: it’ll now just prompt you to refresh.
Shared Links Fixed
Fixed shared links to a specific hole or shot so they always open exactly where you meant them to.
And a bunch of smaller polish and reliability improvements too: tidied-up screens, clearer labels, and plenty of behind-the-scenes tune-ups you’ll feel even if you never see them.
That’s the recap, and honestly, we’re just getting started. The Trends overhaul alone took most of the summer, and we’ve already got the next round of features in the works.
